We dig into burnout on the apps, romance plots, low-effort men, and our collective nostalgia for a nonexistent golden era of dating under patriarchy (lol).
As a mid 20s gen Z girl (that never was obsessed with dating) I like to read and observe what people are saying on the topic. I came to realisation that every generation seemed to complain about dating (or was dating always dead?). I guess these days the challenges are obviously different (technology, quickly changing tremds, political gap) and there are so many different approaches and perspectives about marriage and family. I appreciate the conversation and perspectives you shared.
That’s lovely to hear. Thanks for listening! And agreed. Seems an age-old lament with new complaints arising in each generation, and yet so much stays the same.
